Mountain Peak Marketing walks for breast cancer
TOWSON, MD, June 10, 2018 - The team at Mountain Peak Marketing prides themselves in their community involvement. The firm recently participated in an event alongside 92Q, Magic 95.9, Praise 106.1, WOLB1010 and Spirit 1400. On Saturday, June 9th, the Mountain Peak Marketing team walked together to to benefit breast cancer research and awareness at the 2nd annual Survivor Soul Stroll.
“We learnt that 1 out 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime” says Alex Amos the President of the company. “Knowing this, we felt like it was our duty to go out there and celebrate the women who fought against this cancer and won!
The walk was 2 miles and took place on a bright Saturday morning. The team was all set to walk unitedly to not only benefit breast cancer research, but to also walk in memory of a loved one, or in support of a survivor. The environment radiated nothing but positivity and hope.
Amos was ecstatic when he heard of the event’s success. He went on to describe how proud he was of his team. He said he was inspired by how quickly they jumped on board when he introduced the idea of attending the event.
“I’m consistently impressed with the willingness of my team to participate in charitable events in the community,” Amos said. “It’s awesome to be around such giving people, I think they’re what makes our corporate culture so great.”
