Penny War Challenge: Success!
Towson, MD, 2018- Since August 2018, Mountain Peak Marketing has been battling at the Penny War! The goal of the company was to raise a minimum of $200 and donate it to the cause of the winning team.
Here at Mountain Peak Marketing two teams were drawn: Change 4 Change and M&M Manics. Each team chose a cause they would have liked to donate the money to; St. Judes and Autism awareness respectively. The aim was to collect as many pennies in your jar as possible, and fill the opponents jars with silvers and bills. “It’s a great way to bring the entire firm together, working towards a greater good. Every day, you could hear the change falling into the jars and by the end of the month it was nice seeing filled jars” said the President of Mountain Peak Marketing, Alex Amos.
The company was successful in raising the money and surpassed their goal! M&M Manics being the winner were able to donate towards raising Autism awareness. “It didn’t matter which team won, because at the end of the day it’s a victory for the community. Knowing that our firm has been able to help and give back to the community is a sense of accomplishment itself” William Johnson, the Director of Operations added.
Autism affects nearly 70 millions individuals worldwide. There is no test to detect or cure autism yet. We at Mountain Peak Marketing hope that our donation would be able to help support autism education, awareness, advocacy and most importantly assistance to families
